What People's Say About Place

I’ve always known that this was one of the best Indian restaurants in the Twin Cities. I always recommend it to my friends when they ask me where I like to go! I found out this week that they actually won an award for being the best Indian restaurant in Saint Paul, and it is very well deserved! The flavors of the food here are unbeatable and the staff are so kind and compassionate. I make it a point to go here every month!

We love this place! The food is very very good and there’s something for everyone from the “ketchup! Hot! Hot!” types to the “chemical burns put hair in your chest!” types. Try the buffet to sample the variety and don’t let the color of anything fool you. If you don’t know what you want, ask Maria the server. She gives great suggestions and I’ve had some incredibly good dishes because of her. The staff is generally attentive and likable. Parking can be an adventure - the front lot is rather small.

Amazing place with the most delicious Indian food and welcoming staff. This has become our new favorite spot!

Our family has been patrons here for over 20 years this spring. The dishes are fresh and consistently top-tier. It’s got that soul satisfaction of moms home cooking!

Upon initially walking in, the overwhelming scents of the spices are enticing and welcoming. The food is wonderfully and leaves you wanting for more. The service was great and very welcoming. I will definitely back!

We really loved this place. Haven't been there in years but they've remodeled since and it looks great. Service was friendly and amazing, but we were especially impressed by the food, which seemed leveled-up compared to the usual suburban Indian restaurant. I really enjoyed my tofu curry and my husband loved his chicken biryani. We both loved the chicken pakora, samosa and garlic naan. Highly recommend.

Great service! We came in with a party of 10 around early dinner time and we got seated right away. The waiter was friendly and was able to suggest food options for us, he took our orders and also asked if we’d like to pay together or split (which a lot of places fuss about because it’s too much work) but he didn’t fuss over and separated our checks. The biriyani chicken was so good, the nan bread was so warm, fluffy just cozy. This place is delicious, I’d definitely come back again if I’m craving Indian food.

I purchased everything that appeared to be vegan from the description. I wish they would label vegan items and switch from ghee to coconut oil on all vegetarian options. We had a glorious feast.
